Bio

Hsuan-Tsung started his life of art in 2005. Before animation inspired the passion of animation in him, he studied Physics in high school and Mathematics in college. The time in college was an important turning point of his life.

He studied Math in the college, but he was confused about his future because of the inflexibility of Math. In Math, everything has to follow the rules or theories, and there is not much space for creativity. He didn’t know if he was on the right track, so he found his way to art in college where he joined the club of animation and obtained the basic knowledge and skills of animation, and the most important thing about the club of animation was he had lots of fun. The reason that he transformed his major from math to 3D animation was he was interested in telling stories by his animation.

To reinforce the fundamentals of art, Hsuan-Tsung spent about two years to practice his drawing skill. He was interested in computer art, so he learned some digital art software like photoshop and illustrator. To learn specific skills for digital animation, he learned 3D modeling and animating software for 3D animation. After he finished his first short animation in his life, he used it to apply for higher art education.

In 2007, Hsuan-Tsung was successfully admitted in AAU. In 2008, he arrived San Francisco, the other side of globe from his home country, and learned the culture, language, and the life in United States. In SF, he officially started his art education, specifically 3D animation.
